There's a reason why musky anglers from the US, Canada and around the world, make repeat trips to this renowned fishing destination, situated in prime musky waters. If you have not yet experienced a Lunge Lodge French River trip, this just might be the year to plan for one! Located on the beautiful, Upper French River, the historic lodge is known for its remote location (boat-in only facility) while providing easy access to Lake Nipissing.
American Plan or Housekeeping Plan
The American Plans includes 3 meals per day with breakfast and dinner served in the main lodge and a boxed lunch to keep you fueled for adventure.
By contrast, the Housekeeping Plans forego the prepared meals in favour of a cabin with a conventional range, microwave, coffee maker, full-size refrigerator and basic utensils.
Whether you choose American plan trips or our housekeeping packages (all with fully equipped, clean and comfortable cabins), you're in for a treat with great hosts and world-class fishing literally at your doorstep!
Lunge Lodge + French River = World-Class Musky Fishing!
The lodge is run by, caters to and knows musky chasers' needs inside and out. You will be in excellent hands whether this is your first time pursuing the beast or a pro looking for more time on the French. Speaking of, the French River is known to produce some of the largest muskies in the province.

July 6, 2019 at 2:18 pmThis rustic fishing lodge is exactly what you would hope for. Your hosts, Scott and Tiffany are certainly in the right business. They have a good team surrounding them to make your stay here very relaxing.
If you’re here to fish, you’ve come to the right place. But that’s not all. There is lots to do for couples or families alike.
Although Scott and Tiffany have only owned the lodge for a couple years, the fact that they made the French river there go to vacation spot for many years prior really shows. They are using their experience at other lodges and as guests themselves to ensure their guests rave about their stay at Lunge Lodge.
They are investing heavily into making Lunge Lodge the Premier fishing destination in the French River. I would highly suggest you visit this historic lodge and witness its rejuvenation over the next number of years. I know I’ll be back.
Hint, both Tiffany and Scott enjoy fireworks. The fact that they are also Americans, the week that holds both Canada Day and Independence Day is a real boom! A real nice treat for sure.

The American Plan includes breakfast and dinner, lodging and boat with unlimited gas. Almost everything is included in the price. The food is out of this world by the way.
The people that you meet turn into fast friends. By day 2 we had other lodge guests giving us their fishing spots. We had beers with them and watched some football.
It’s big water and lots of structure there. You could spend a lifetime learning the lake and not scratch the surface. We caught decent amounts of fish each day, in spite of the cold front that came in.
It’s one of the best values on the market and you need to get your butt up there for some total relaxation!
